Picture of the day Where is this picture from? | Welcome to our travel site! Why are we travelling and writing here about? The world is changing fast. On the place of a forest yesterday we see only palms today. Suit-wearing papuas leaves a shack with an attache-case. He drives a car and goes to the office. An englishman do just the same. Everything gradually becomes similar so the unique things that are still left have the most value nowadays. We're travelling and writing about this, trying to catch the tail of a moment. We're willing to show that our world is still diverse and magnificent in its diversity. We want to see our planet like a thin lace or a web where all threads are joined together in harmony. Our world consists of many interconnections, beneficial and harmful. We are willing to realise what is the common between any societies and what is completely different. We invite you to join us! In general there are to main kinds of food in Indonesia. The first is simple everyday food for unpretentious locals. The second is beautifully served restaurant food for those with more money. We rarely visit restaurants therefore second type doesn’t suit us. But during half-year travel in Indonesia we learnt a lot about simple local cuisine. The first impression of the food on the largest archipelago wasn’t that good. Sumatran food seemed to be not the best. But later we realized that the quality of food in Indonesia depended on the place we chose. This article highlights the best indonesian food and also we’ll share our ideas about successful choosing places to eat.

We didn’t dream of ordinary wedding, despite we wished something special according to our style of living. We both a bit crazy about mountains, hiking and travel. And the best we could imagine was to get married somewhere in mountains. While the majority of brides are dressed in white and waiting for a solemn marriage ceremony… some of them… right!… are climbing to the next mountain pass and wear a helmet instead of a veil

In 2007 I climbed solo Mt. Elbrus and described how everyone can do it by himself. It’s not that easy and it needs some days of altitude adaptation as long as some ice-training. You should know about weather and have crampons and ice-axe and the way but of cause you can avoid hiring guides and snowcat. The best climb is the climb you do by yourself. Every information you need about this is inside this article.

Those who hasn’t ever heard the name “coffee luwak” (Ind: kopi luwak) aren’t real fans of coffee. In any coffee-related articles this brand is described as the best, the most sophisticated and also the most expensive sort of coffee in the world. There are numerous legends about this chocolate-vanilla thin flavoured drink which is produced using аn asian palm civet (Paradoxurus hermaphroditus) which belongs to Viverridae family. Allegedly civets recognize and eat the best and the ripest coffee berries with a bean inside from the plantation. Following fermentation of beans in their stomach improves the taste and reduces bitterness of coffee brew. We decided to observe how do they produce coffee luwak in Bali and describe this without any fairy tales and legends.
